General Introduction:

OHARA CLEARCERAM-Z is a kind of microcrystalline glass with ultra-low coefficient of thermal expansion

The material was developed by ohara based on high uniform melting and precise crystallization.

It is produced under strict control of various factors and has excellent thermal, mechanical and chemical properties. CLEARCERAM-z can be divided into two versions, CCZ-Regular and CCZ-HS, based on differences in thermal expansion.


Characteristics:

1. Ultra-low expansion: this material has little thermal expansion over a wide temperature range and has excellent thermal shock resistance. CCZ Regular provides lower thermal expansion over a wide temperature range, while CCZ HS provides lower thermal expansion near room temperature.

2. Excellent mechanical properties: about 70% of this material is made up of ceramics, which gives it superior mechanical properties to ordinary amorphous glass. (such as Young's modulus, stiffness, bending strength and hardness, etc.)

3. Excellent machinability: the grain structure of the material prevents the propagation of microcracks generated during machining. This property enables materials to be machined into various shapes with high precision, ease of processing and improved yield.

4. Excellent chemical properties: this material has high chemical durability and is very stable in a variety of cleaning and film coating processes. CLEARCERAM®-Z's composition is free of Na, K, B, F and Pb, giving the material excellent chemical resistance.


Main applications:

1. Semiconductor stepping element

2. LCD stepper assembly

3. Optical plane, optical gasket, optical window, interferometer components

4. Laser refractor and suspended matter

5. Telescope reflector, block gauge, long precision scale, optical base platform and precision equipment base. This material is an ideal substitute for quartz glass, ceramic or low thermal expansion alloys.
